Baroness Helena Kennedy QC is seeking an experienced Human Rights Programme Lawyer
to join her team at the International Bar Association’s Human Rights Institute. As a member
of a qualified, diverse team, the IBAHRI Programme Lawyer will be responsible for the
development of human rights programmes, focusing primarily on Sexual and Gender-Based Violence and Gender Equality programmes.
The IBAHRI works by sending fact-finding missions worldwide leading to long-term technical assistance programmes in partnership with Bar Associations and Law Societies; sending trial observers; supporting amicus briefs; intervening by making representations to domestic and international authorities worldwide; organising human rights training for lawyers and judges; liaising closely with international and regional human rights organisations, and producing newsletters and other publications.
